Modern games vs. traditional games
Games, whether modern and highly technological or traditional, are the best way of soothing your body and having fun at the same time. It all started with simple board games and then it went on to small video games handset. With time, came the advanced video games and today PSP’s are the most liked. But when we talk about fun with family and friends, board games are still liked by many.
Both the games have different players according to age. The more advanced ones are liked by teenagers which includes real atmosphere, real graphics, high sound, good picture quality etc. While simple computer games like solitaire and other board games like chess and monopoly are still liked by elder people. Imagine a day together with family playing monopoly and the atmosphere filled with fun and laughter. A modern video game cannot provide us with the same. Obviously, there are people who like board games and that is why we find them in the markets.
When you play a video game, you need joysticks. Two or three people can play easily but when more number of people are involved, more joysticks would be involved which means expenditure of more money. On the other hand board games like carom board and ludo games can solve the problem and also provide fun.
These board games like a chess board, a carom board, a board to play monopoly do not require a huge amount to play it. While in a video game you need to be quick and take fast decisions, here in board games you can use your mind and take your own time before any move. You can even carry on with your daily chores and still play. It’s no different from video games but in a video game you are concerned with points. The board games give you an altogether different feeling and take you into the past.
The traditional board games have been there for long and will still be used to get into the past and enjoy life with family and friends.
Whatever be the format of the games, they will be loved by all and used as a means to enjoy life.
